Moody - 27
In our Opinion this Moody 27 is presented in very good condition for her age. Owned by her current Owners since 2006 , she has been well maintained and updated including having a new Volvo D1 engine fitted, that has only done approx. 75 hrs since as well as undergoing full, professional Osmosis Treatment 2 years ago. Rigged as a sloop, she has a good deep cockpit and a spacious cabin with 4 berths, comfortable saloon & separate heads. This particular Moody 27 had an original factory modification to remove the very small quarter berth and replace it with additional storage and a larger Galley area, making her more functional than many of her peers. Her solid teak woodwork is in good original condition & mirror the build quality of this highly respected marque. This Moody 27 is a great boat that is easy to sail, has been well maintained and offers family friendly cruising as proven by the large number of examples still sailing today. She is currently lying in Southampton & is available for viewings through Aspire Boat Sales.

In our opinion, this Moody 27 fin keel cruising yacht is in very good condition for her age. She has four comfortable berths in 2 cabins as well as an extended galley & a separate heads compartment. This particular boat has the massive advantage of a new Volvo D1 – 20 HP engine fitted recently that has only completed approx. 75 hrs use. In addition, in 2017, Pinstripe spent over a year ashore, where her hull was stripped back, dried out and an Epoxy Osmosis Treatment was professionally applied. Electronically, she is equipped with VHF, Raymarine Speed & Depth & Gauge and Simrad Tillerpilot. Her current owners have had her for nearly 14 years and it is clear to see that this boat has been looked after & loved.
The Moody 27 is known as being one of the Moody greats with a total of 162 built & many examples still sailed today. This particular boat is solidly built, making her a safe boat which is both fun to sail & comfortable to live on-board. She is ideal for family sailing around coastal waters whilst still being very capable of cruising further afield. She is currently lying in Southampton & viewing is a must if you are looking for a Moody 27.
